Books for early readers October 8, 2008 Eileen F. Mann (SW Vermont) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
One five year old twin granddaughter had selected Help!: A Story of Friendship to give to her school library on her birthday. But on that morning she changed her mind and decided to give the school a different choice. It's a cute story with a wonderful message that rings truer to me than ones from Dora or Hannah Montana. It would no doubt be a good addition to the Obamas library. Who knows, maybe it would be a book that Sarah Palin wanted banned. The list of banned books posted on our library's door right now includes all the Harry Potter series, which got so so many young people turned onto reading, and a slew of other well written jewels. Hope Holly Keller will keep writing*****
kids loved it! August 25, 2008 Tania Grosz Blueh (Santiago, Chile) I'm a second grade teacher and luckily I found this book to talk about trust, gossiping and friendship with my children. amazing effect! They even wanted to create a role play based on the book!! We have analyzed it and take it to our personal situations. Great choice. Kids read it once and again. Five stars!!!

Can friendships survive gossip? When Mouse is indeed endangered, danger - and rescue - come from unexpected places in this gentle story.
