Pretty good game, but I expected more August 23, 2008 The game is pretty good. All the categories are of easy to average difficulty, until you get to the dance moves one. Are they kidding me??? My kids (and myself) get stuck in that category for quite a few rounds. In some of the clips, you don't even know who you should be watching, and the moves are so similar in the choices that you really have no clue. I have to say though, the game is tons better than the Hannah Montana game - which is a complete waste of time and money. Don't buy it - your children will be very disappointed with it. Overall this is a good game, now we just try the dance moves category once and then move on.
High School Musical game April 7, 2008 My grandchildren love, love, love this game. We have played it over and over and is used at birthday parties as well. The game is sturdy and well made and gives alot of enjoyment to everyone, children and adults. Thank you.
Fun game even if you haven't seen the movies!!! January 14, 2008 I purchased this game for my niece for Christmas, what a great buy!! I had never even seen the movies but we played for hours and hours, and she and I had none stop fun. We only had one problem...trying to guess the dance sequence was a little difficult. After trying 20 times or more to solve it, we can up with a plan. We would try three times and if we still couldn't get it we would take one step backwards and solve the question before it. Worked out great!!
You better know your stuff! January 9, 2008 Our kids are very good at this game. My husband and I are not. However, the dance part of the game is virtually impossible for all players. The dance part 25% of the game questions. It is still fun to play and the kids seem to enjoy it. Mostly because they know most of the answers to the other questions.
8 yr old LOVED her present from Santa! December 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
HSM 2 fans will love this game. The Dance category is hard, since they show the dance clip, and you choose the correct sequence, but the 3 stationary pictures in each sequence choice often look very similar. It IS an improvement over HSM 1's dance category, where all they did was list the next dance move in sequence...I still have no idea what some of those moves are called. The HSM 1 game had an extra where the 'gang' would teach the dance moves to 2-3 of the songs...that alone was worth getting the game. Unfortunately, this one doesn't. What it DOES have, however, are interviews with the HSM 2 characters talking about their time on the set, recounting little stories. This happens randomly during the game, and is an interesting diversion. I like 'Fulton' as narrator better than the drama teacher from the first movie. The game format is slightly different than HSM 1, but the basics are the same. You do have to work the remote more in this game than HSM 1. Definitely worth it for the HSM 2 tweener in your life.
